About the Programme


This degree programme is designed for students who are interested in dealing with people because people are in a constant change of flux in their needs, wants and desires. This programme will develop an in-depth understanding of the theoretical base relevant to consumer behaviour, advertising and promotional activities, brand management, sales force management, retail marketing and related marketing decisions. It will enhance students' ability to apply the theoretical knowledge to analysis and evaluation of marketing problems using appropriate market research techniques. The subjects covered include marketing strategy and campaign planning, public relations, event management and journalism, working across different media and technologies while skills such as analytical problem solving, teamwork, research and organising and communicating information receive great emphasis



Job Opportunities

Graduates will be able to work for advertising firms, consumer product companies, retails chains, wholesalers, media outlets, auto dealerships, tourist resorts, government ministries, and non-profits.

Programme Structure



Students are required to pass 8 modules totalling 120 credits in each year (level). In total students must satisfactorily complete 480 credits (32 modules) with a combination of core and specialisation modules to be eligible for the award of the BA (Honours).

Please note that: Programme structures may be subject to change and modules may be offered in any of the semesters in an academic year

Nathan is an engineer, entrepreneur and educator. Nathan has managed scores of projects across Fortune 500 companies, a premier pediatric healthcare campus in the USA, and private and public sector clients throughout the GCC. He is a passionate coach and mentor to SMEs throughout the Sultanate of Oman.

Nathan completed his executive education in entrepreneurship, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School) in 2010. He graduated with distinguished honours from Drexel University in 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering, a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Nathan is fluent in Arabic and has mentored, coached or trained more than 300 small and medium enterprise owners across the Middle East with Google Launchpad, RIYADA, Startup MENA, MIT Pan Arab Enterprise Forum, and other privately funded enterprises.

Ali Al-Lawati has accumulated over eighteen years of experience mainly in the areas of Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Business Development, Marketing, Negotiations and Portfolio Management.

Ali holds an MBA certificate from the University of Bedfordshire – United Kingdom, in addition to the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Practitioner Diploma and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certificate, and has recently joined Majan University College as a part-time lecturer in the Undergraduate Program of Business Management Faculty.

Throughout his career, Ali built a strong foundation in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Training and Coaching. He held several positions in local and international organizations, including Head of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) at the Bank of Beirut, and Managing Director of corporate Sales and marketing at an IT and networking subsidiary of Arabian Industries LLC – Omani, a diversified pioneer mainly providing engineering solutions for the oil, gas, industrialized and telecommunications sectors.

معايير القبول في البرنامج

من أجل تلبية متطلبات البرنامج، يجب على المتقدم استيفاء الشروط التالية:

  1. أن يكون عمر المتقدم 25 عاماً فأعلى مع درجة البكالوريوس في أي تخصص من احدى مؤسسات التعليم العالي المعترف بها، وسنتين على الأقل من الخبرة العملية بدوام كامل.
  2. أن يكون عمر المتقدم 25 عامًا فأعلى مع دبلوم التعليم العالي لمدة عامين وأي 4 دورات تدريبية قصيرة و6 سنوات من الخبرة في العمل بدوام كامل.

هيكل البرنامج


يتكون البرنامج من 7 مواد دراسية وكل منها تمثل 20 نقطة معتمدة + مشروع التخرج والذي يمثل 40 نقطة معتمدة = اجمالي 180 نقطة معتمدة. وسوف تكون المواد الدراسية مقسمة على الفصول الدراسية كما موضح أدناه:

الفصل الدراسي الثاني مادة الإدارة المالية و مادة إدارة الموارد البشرية
الفصل الدراسي الثالث مادة إدارة العمليات والمشاريع ومادة الإدارة الإستراتيجية
الفصل الدراسي الرابع مادة ريادة الأعمال وإدارة المؤسسات الصغيرة ومادة مشروع التخرج

يهدف البرنامج إلى مساعدت الطالب على تطوير مهاراته وقدراته كمتعلم وكجزء من مجتمع ديناميكي يدور حول التفاعل مع المحاضرين والأقران وجهًا لوجه وبيئات التعلم الافتراضية والمصممة لمساعدتك على تحقيق اقصى ما يمكن من استغلال قدراتك كطالب أو مدير في مكان عملك.
سوف تقوم من خلال هذا البرنامج على التعرف على أحدث الأبحاث العلمية والتي تثري التعلم والمعرفة. كما ان شبكة الاتصالات التي يخلقها هذا البرنامج بين الطلبة وخبراتهم العملية تثري مهاراتك وقدراتك الإدارية وأيضا تنمي مقدرة الابداع والابتكار لإيجاد حلول للمشكلات في بيئة العمل.
كما يسعى البرنامج إلى تمكين الطالب وتعزيز مفاهيمه للإدارة على مستوى الاستراتيجي من منظور عالمي من خلال:

  • دعم قدرات الطالب المهنية التي تساهم في تطوير جهة عمله.
  • رفع قدراته التفكيرية للقيادة الاستراتيجية في القضايا والحالات المعقدة.
  • تنمية قدراته على الابتكار من المنظورين الفردي والمؤسسي.
  • تنمية قدراته القيادية من منظور الإدارة العليا.
  • تحسين المهارات التحليلية والفهم الأمثل للمهام التشغيلية الرئيسية، مثل المحاسبة والتسويق الداعمة للأنشطة الاستراتيجية للمؤسسة.
  • تطوير معرفته الذهنية (المعرفة الضمنية) الداعمة للمبادرات الريادية للتنافسية المستدامة من المنظورين الشخصي والتنظيمي.
  • تنمية مهارات وقدرات التواصل المباشرة والافتراضية مع المحاضرين والأقران لتبادل المعرفة.
  • إكتساب قدرات وميزة تنافسية عالمية في القيادة الاستراتيجية سواء كطالب أو مدير في جهة العمل.
  • زيادة الفرصة في الانتقال من وظيفية إلى اخرى أعلى أجراً في قطاع معين أكثر تحفيز للإبداع والابتكار.

تهدف هذه المادة إلى تزويد الطالب بالآتي:

  • تعريف الطالب بتحديات التسويق المعاصر التي تواجه مدير القرن الحادي والعشرين.
  • تطوير معرفة الطالب وخبراته ومهاراته لمقابلة بيئة الأعمال الديناميكية والسياقات المتعددة للتسويق التقليدي، والتجارة الإلكترونية والخدمات العامة.
  • تمكين الطالب من تحليل المشكلات ذات الصلة بالتسويق والتحديات والفرص وتقييمها بشكل نقدي مستخدما الأدوات والاليات الفكرية واتخاذ القرار الفعال.
  • تطوير قدره الطالب على التحليل والتقييم النقدي لوجهات النظر القائمة حول التسويق الحالي ومقارنتها مع المادة البحثية ذات صلة. مما يزود الطالب بالمهارات اللازمة للتقييم والتوصية بمجموعة متنوعة من استراتيجيات وتكتيكات وخطط التسويق التي تنسق أهداف المؤسسة وقدراتها ومواردها مع احتياجات السوق.

توفر هذه المادة للطالب فرصة لاستكشاف العلاقة بين أنظمة المعلومات وأداءالأعمال بطريقة إبداعية, ذلك مع الأخذ في الاعتبار قيود العالم الحقيقي مع الاستمرار في تطوير حلول مبتكرة وخلاقة لنظم المعلومات.


تعمل هذه المادة الدراسية على تزويد الدارس بالمعرفة و المهارات و الفهم اللازم لقيادة وإدارة العاملين بالمؤسسات بفعالية وذلك لتحقيق الإستدامة في اداء المؤسسة الاقتصادي وفي تنافسيتها وازدهارها. السؤال الرئيسي في هذه المادة هو : ماهي الإستراتيجيات الواجب على قيادات و مدراء المؤسسات اتباعها لرفع مستوى اداء العاملين في مختلف المؤسسات الحديثة؟

تتطرق هذه المادة إلى فهم الأسس النظرية والتطبيقية للمحاسبة ولأساليب تحليل التقارير المالية بالإضافة إلى أساليب التنبؤ بمردودية المؤسسات وطرق تقييمها. إضافة إلى المواضيع النظرية والتطبيقية تتناول هذه المادة الدور الرئيسي للمحاسبة في اتخاذ القرارات مثل قرارات الاستثمار والتمويل.

يهدف المقرر إلى تجهيز الطالب بالمعلومات والتطبيقات اللازمة للعمل في مجال إدارة العمليات، وذلك ليمكنه من القيام بالوظيفة بشكل تنافسي، مع التركيز على الكفاءة والفعالية، و استيعاب التحديات و التطورات العالمية المؤثرة على العمليات، حتى يصبح قادرا على التعامل مع المتغيرات في إدارة الطلب و التوريد و العمليات الإنتاجية و الخدمية. أصبحت إدارة المشاريع أكثر أهمية كل يوم كمهارة مطلوبة في العديد من المهن المتعلقة بالأعمال التجارية في مختلف المجالات. يركز هذا المساق على المفاهيم والمبادئ النظرية لإدارة المشاريع والتقنيات والأدوات اللازمة لتطبيقها على أنواع مختلفة من المشاريع. يسعى هذا المقرر إلى تزويد الطلاب بالأدوات اللازمة لتطوير إدارة المشاريع في السياقات المحلية والعالمية.

تهدف المادة إلى تمكين الدارس من الآتي:

  • اجراء التحليل المناسب لوضع المؤسسة الإستراتيجي.
  • استخدام الأطر والادوات الملائمة لتحديد الإمكانات والخيارات الإستراتيجية المتوفرة للمؤسسة.
  • القيام بإجراءات التقييمية الملائمة لتحديد مدى مناسبة وجدوى وقبول الخيارات المتوفرة.
  • إعداد استراتيجيات تضمن التناسق اللازم بين الموارد الداخلية للمؤسسة والظروف الخارجية بما يحقق النمو طويل الأجل والميزة التنافسية.

تهدف المادة إلى تزويد الدارس بالقدرات والمهارات التالية:

  • القدرة على تقييم مدى حيازته للصفات الشخصية لرائد الأعمال و مدى تأثير ذلك على مسيرته المهنية.
  • القدرة على التعرف على الفرص السانحة والخروج بأفكار متجددة.
  • تنمية المهارات الأساسية الخاصة بالتحليل وحل المشكلات وفهم عملية ريادة الأعمال و ممارستها.
  • القدرة على دمج المهارات الأساسية الخاصة بإدارة العاملين والتسويق والمحاسبة والمالية واستراتيجيات الأعمال كبدء نشاط تجاري جديد سواء منتج أو خدمة.
  • فهم الكيفية التي ينبغي أن تتغير بها عملية ريادة الأعمال و قيادتها تبعاً لنمو وتطور المؤسسة.

يتوج مشروع التخرج دراسة برنامج ماجستير إدارة الأعمال، وقد صمم خصيصاً لمحاكاة حالة ادارية حقيقية مما يمنح الدارس الفرصة لإظهار قدرته على استخدام المعرفة و المهارات المكتسبة خلال دراسة البرنامج. الغرض من المشروع أن يجمع للدارس جميع العناصر التي تعلمها ويعزز ترابطها مع توفير تجربة تمكنه من الانتقال من مستوى الفهم والمعرفة المجردة إلى المزج والاكتشاف في مجالات جديدة تفصيلية مما يحفز وينشط بيئة المزج. وقد تم تصميم مشروع التخرج بحيث يمنح الدارس الفرصة لإظهار معرفته وفهمه للإدارة والأعمال وكذلك لإظهار حيازته للمهارات الضرورية للعمل بفعالية في الشركات أو المؤسسات العامة أو في بيئة غير ربحية.

  • رسوم الضمان قابلة للاسترداد (100 ريال عماني) ورسوم التسجيل غير قابلة للاسترداد (200 ريال عماني) يتم دفعها نقدًا / بالبطاقة مرة واحدة فقط في وقت التسجيل.
  • يمكن تثبيت رسوم الوحدات على 4 أقساط شهرية بواسطة - PDS.
  • (الفصل الدراسي 1 - 05 / أكتوبر ، 05 / نوفمبر ، 05 / ديسمبر ، 05 / يناير) و (الفصل الدراسي 2 - 05 / مارس ، 05 / أبريل ، 05 / مايو ، 05 / يونيو).
  • يتم دفع إجمالي الرسوم الدراسية لأي فصل دراسي نقدًا / بالبطاقة / بشيكات قبل بدء التدريس لتجنب غرامة السداد المتأخر البالغة 75 ريالًا عمانياً.
  • يُلغى التسجيل إذا ظل إجمالي الرسوم الدراسية غير مدفوعة بعد أكثر من ثلاثة أسابيع من بدء التدريس.
  • إجمالي النقاط المعتمدة 180 نقطه معتمدة (7 وحدات من 20 نقطه معتمدة لكل منها + 1 مادة المشروع من 40 نقطه معتمدة).
  • 20 نقطة معتمدة تعادل 500 ريال عماني بينما 40 نقطة تعادل 1،000 ريال عماني.
  • لا يوجد خصم متاح للدراسات العليا.

Mohammed Siddique, a Senior Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK is working in Majan University College as a Head of Registry Systems and Examinations in the Registry Department. He has worked as a Director of Studies and Programme Manager in the Faculty of IT from 2011-2020. He has 20+ years of academic and industrial experience in Oman, South Korea and India in teaching different IT subjects in reputed colleges to diploma and undergraduate students from various universities. He has coordinated and developed many real-time large-scale applications in IT companies using both Microsoft and Java platforms with latest technologies on several domains. He has a Masters in Computer Applications, BSc in Computer Science and postgraduate diploma certifications to his credit. His area of interest in research includes Image processing, artificial intelligence, data science, network security and distributed & parallel computing.
