Employment and Internship

The Career and Industry Engagement Office offers professional support to both current students at Majan and our alumni. The aim is to help students and alumni by improving their employability, supporting them in developing their skills, and improving their CVs. It also supports them in searching for jobs and finding and promoting internship opportunities.

Career and Industry Engagement Office Activities:

Majan believes that its students should be networking with potential employers. To support this the Career and Industry Engagement Office conducts the following activities and services:

Employer seminar and presentation

The Office invites companies and organisations to Majan to talk to students about their companies. Workshops are conducted regularly that help improve students’ employability, including:

  • How to create a professional CV,
  • How to prepare for an interview,
  • Career planning,
  • Time management,
  • Career opportunities in Oman,
  • Workshops on career development.
  • Campus placement:

Campus placement:

The Career and Industry Engagement Office has initiated a unique approach that aims to match organisations’ recruitment requirements with students’ qualifications and skills.

Campus placement events give organisations an opportunity to interact with students who are about to graduate, to interview them and possibly select them as graduate trainees or summer interns.
