Majan University College has once again received institutional accreditation from the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education, having first achieved this milestone in 2017 as the first higher education institution to receive such accreditation. The institutional accreditation process involves a series of integrated procedures to ensure that higher education institutions are effectively fulfilling their mission and objectives, while also meeting the minimum global standards required. Majan University College has successfully met all the criteria necessary to obtain this accreditation, aligning with Oman’s Vision 2040 for higher education. In this context, Dr. Maha Kobiel, Dean and CEO of Majan University College, expressed her pride in this achievement and extended her gratitude to the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and the evaluation committee for their diligent efforts. She emphasized that this second accreditation serves as a testament to the college’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high academic standards and quality assurance over the years. The college is dedicated to sustaining and developing its systems, procedures, and policies. Professor Salam Al Kindi, Chairman of the Board of Majan University College, praised this achievement, attributing it to the efforts of the college’s staff in their various roles and specializations. He acknowledged that everyone contributed with professionalism and quality, leading to this accomplishment that the college is proud of. Professor Al Kindi extended his thanks and appreciation to all who contributed to this success, specifically thanking Dr. Maha Kobiel, Dean of the College, Ms. Nabila Al Maki, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, and all the college staff. He also thanked the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education for their continuous efforts to ensure the quality of education in the Sultanate. It is worth noting that Majan University College is the first private higher education institution in the Sultanate, offering three main disciplines: Business Administration, Information Technology, and English Language Studies. These disciplines encompass a wide range of academic programs and pathways, and the college offers Master's, Bachelor's with Honors, and Higher Diploma degrees in these fields. Recently, new programs have been added in the Graduate Studies, Business Administration, and Information Technology departments, including the Master of Business Administration in Arabic, as well as diploma and bachelor’s programs in Finance and Technology, Business Analytics using Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science with specializations in Cybersecurity and Digital Archiving.
