MOVE is Majan College's e-learning environment. It is based on the Moodle platform, used by more than 65,000 educational institutions worldwide. It provides a learning environment that can be accessed anytime, anywhere, extending the learning experience beyond the classroom. Lecturers can use MOVE to provide self-assessments, module resources, online discussions, and many interesting and engaging activities. At Majan, MOVE is an essential part of our students' learning, as they submit all their assignments electronically on MOVE and have access to module materials and activities.

MUC Library Portal

The Library Portal is the official portal of Majan University College. You can use it to view course reading lists, browse books, and reserve them for borrowing.

A book on hold is reserved for one day only, so be sure to borrow your books the day after you reserve/reserve them electronically.

Books can be renewed through the Library Portal. Each course on the MOVE platform has a link to its reading list; you can find this link in the "Course Resources" section.

These are important books recommended for the course and are available in the College Library.

Turnitin

Turnitin is an online assignment submission service, with which Majan College participates. It offers two main features:

  • It compares any submitted assignment against hundreds of thousands of online sources, essay banks, and other student assignments. This enables it to assign a "similarity score." This helps lecturers ensure that none of your fellow students are unfairly benefiting from someone else's work by imitating their own.

  • Turnitin provides an electronic marking system called a grade mark, which lecturers can use to provide feedback. The feedback provided through a grade mark is clear and easy to understand. It appears in your document next to the section for which they are providing feedback.
