Congratulations to Talal Al-Khanbashi, a BSc(Hons) Networking graduate of Majan, who won 3rd place in the Hackathon event conducted by National Bank of Oman for his project 'SMART BANK'!
Y Got Talent
Congratulations to Qais Al Zadjali and Wiam Al Habsi for winning the 'Y Got Talent' contest @ Majan! They will now represent their college in the final in July against competitors from other colleges and universities in Oman. Good luck!
Majan for Green
Majan for Green was a 'green project' undertaken by students of Operations Management as part of their assessment strategy. The objective of the green project was to spread awareness about the importance of green products and sustainable development. Using design thinking, the students designed green products, which were displayed at an event in the Faculty of Business Management. The students were very creative in design thinking and innovative in product development and presented a range of green products that impressed the audience. 
Football Dean's Cup
Congratulations to Shemay Team who won the 'Football Dean's Cup'! An award's ceremony followed the match, honouring the best goal keeper (Marwan Al Raisi), best player (Mohamed Al Bulushi) and the best scorer (Saif Al Badai). 
Alumni Souq
Majan held it's first 'Alumni Souq' to help support budding entrepreneurs, by organising a marketplace for the businesses of Majan's alumni. To register for the ‘Majan College Alumni Association' and take part in future events please visit                
Research Day 2017
Well done to all the students who took the courage to present their own research to students and staff at Majan's 'Research Day 2017'! Majan hopes to see all the students who took part continue to further their research studies!
Debugging Competition
Congratulations to Idris Nasser Ahmed Al-Rawahi, a student of the Faculty of IT, who won 2nd place in the Debugging Competition conducted by Middle East College!
