The Majan College campus with 18,890 sq meters of land is located in a prime location in Darsait. The Facilities department is responsible for the overall maintenance and supervision of all the Colleges' physical facilities. It maintains records of all College properties and assets, leased or owned.
The operational activities of campus and facilities management can be broadly categorised as:
- Building and maintenance,
- Grounds maintenance,
- Services, supply and maintenance,
- Planning and project management.

Mission:
The Mission of the college library is to design, produce, acquire, store and make available information resources to meet the teaching and learning, information and research needs of College students and staff, and to provide users with advice and assistance in their use.Collection:
The library has a comprehensive and up to date collection of books and resources in the field of Accounting, Business, E-business, HRM, Marketing, IT and EFL.

The library is also open 10:00am - 5:30pm on Fridays when Post Graduate classes are in session. Please check with the library for latest dates.

printing and scanning services
- Students can access multifunction printing, scanning, photocopying machines in the library and can print from any computer lab in the college.
- Students receive RO 1 of print credit from the college each semester, additional credit can be purchased as required. Black and white printing/copying costs 10bz per double sided sheet, colour costs 70bz per sheet.
ONLINE Information resources (UOB Digital Library):
Majan University College students can access around 10,000 electronic journals through the University of Bedfordshire’s Digital library.
UoB Digital library included 10 databases for eBooks, 33 databases for Academic e-Journals and 6 online databases for Newspapers.
E-Brary
e-Brary is an online repository of e-books, including 122,000 titles available for searching, reading online and downloading.
ProQuest
ProQuest Central is the largest, multidisciplinary, full-text online database available in the market today. It covers subject like Business, Science & Technology, Health and Medical, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities and News. This resource provides access to 30 of ProQuest's most highly used databases, with a variety of content types across over 160 subjects

The Majan College IT Support department is providing end to end delivery of IT services to the College staff and students with more than 550 hosts and infrastructure with latest storage systems, Mail Servers, Oracle/SQL Databases and virtualizaiton with the help of 4 staff members.
A few of the functions of IT department are
- Maintaining the IT infrastructure, IT systems, LAN and Wireless LAN of college and hostels
- Improving the capacity and reliability of the IT infrastructure
- Installing, configuring, and optimizing applications
- Installing, testing and documenting security policies
- Providing suggestions to Management for implementing new technologies in the University based on the present day trends
- Managing IT operational risks to ensure business continuity

The research center is led by the research committee who define the strategic directions, orientations, plans and motivations of the research and scholarly activities of the College. The committee consist of the Dean, Associate Dean Quality Assurance and Registry, all Heads of Faculties, Head of Quality Enhancement, Chairs of Faculty Research Committees and two senior representatives from each faculty.
The committee aims to:
- Promote and encourage a vibrant research culture within the College,
- Promote research that underpins teaching and enhances learning,
- Facilitate procedures governing scholarly activities and policies for granting sponsorship for research-related activities that foster the development of the community,
- Facilitate the conduct of research and scholarly activities by the academic and teaching staff of the College; monitor and benchmark the quality of research activities conducted,
- Monitor and evaluate the research and scholarly activities in the College,
- Establish research and scholarly activity opportunities and links with external bodies.
Majan Training Unit (MTU) provides Oman’s diverse community with professional training opportunities to enhance and promote career growth through training workshops and programmes.
It offers customised courses in the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, English Language, Leadership, Accounting… etc.
When the unit was first opened it was called ‘Center for Continuing Education’, it ran a number of courses to a high level for many years. In 2014 the center became an approved center by the Ministry and Manpower and at this point it changed its name to ‘Majan Training Center’.

E-Learnin
MOVE is Majan's Online Learning Environment. It is based on Moodle, a system used by over 65,000 educational institutions worldwide. It provides a learning environment that can be accessed anywhere and at any time, extending the learning experience outside the four walls of the classroom. Lecturers can use MOVE to provide self-testing assessments, module resources, online discussions and many more interesting and engaging activities. At Majan MOVE is a key part of our students learning. They submit all their assignments electronically on MOVE, and access module materials and activities.
IT Support
