Hashir Noor, an ACCA student at Majan College have scored 92% marks in the module Financial Accounting (FA). The marks are highest ever scored by a student in exams conducted by Majan College for ACCA’s applied knowledge level. Hashir thanked his teachers for providing excellent learning support during difficult pandemic times. He attributed his success to parent’s prayers, positive attitude and hard work. The college immediately moved to online classes in March this year when higher education institutions were closed due to Covid-19. The online classes have been conducted uninterrupted ever since and steps were taken to ensure that delivery of the lessons is at par with face to face mode of teaching. The college which is a “GOLD” approved learning partner of ACCA in Oman has started conducting ACCA examinations under strict SOPs. The number of students sitting exams at a particular time has been limited to 10 ensuring social distancing practices are followed.
