Dr. Veena Tewari, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business Management at Majan University College, recently presented a paper at an international conference on Technology, Innovation and Sustainability in Business Management (ICTIS 2019) in Dubai. The conference was organized by the Business School of Middlesex University Dubai and took place on 2nd May, 2019 at their Dubai campus. Dr. Veena’s paper was entitled 'Quantitative Study of Contemporary Service Customer: Case of Oman', and was appreciated by the industry delegates. The one-day conference was attended by a mix of academics and industry experts, and featured approximately fifty presentations plus a panel discussion. The conference explored how technology has enhanced public sector service delivery mechanisms, and examined the role played by government entities in creating sustainable societies. The diversity of participants facilitated fruitful discussion about the impact of advances in technology, innovation and sustainability on the business practices needed by organizations in order to remain relevant and competitive..
